ATHABASCA FALLS Where the Athabasca River meets a narrow gorge—the falls resulting are some of the most spectacular in the Rockies.
GLACIER ADVENTURE At 389 square kilometres, the Columbia Icefield Glacier is the largest icefield south of Alaska. Local coaches take tours through the Athabasca Glacier; guided hikes will take participants to glacier headwalls, where the ice is over 1,000 feet thick.
EXPLORE JASPER’S LAKES Jasper is rich in freshwater lakes: Patricia and Pyramid Lakes offer great boating and hiking, and Lakes Edith and Annette offer great picnic sites, as well as sandy beaches for swimming.
FLOAT TRIP Jasper Raft Tours offers comfortable oar rafts manned by Parks-licensed guides. Trips are 2-3 hours long and include shuttle service to the river and all gear. Suitable for first timers and families.

MALIGNE CANYON A scenic limestone canyon with waterfalls and walking trails. This is a popular destination for interpretive hikes and picnics. Gift shop and restaurant on site (seasonal).
MIETTE HOT SPRINGS Features the hottest hot springs in the Canadian Rockies (40°C), as well as a warm pool and two cool pools, which kids will love jumping to and fro. Open May 6 to October 10, 2016.
