Jasper has a variety of major attractions which are must sees during your visit.

Glacier Skywalk 2014

At the Jasper Skytram, you will discover views unsurpassed anywhere else in Jasper. Explore unlimited hiking and backcountry terrain in the high alpine and enjoy a lifetime experience the whole family will enjoy. 

A 10 minute drive from Jasper brings you to Maligne Canyon, the deepest canyon in the Park. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres deep and was appropriately named for its mysterious and haunting environment.

36km further down from Maligne Canyon brings you to Maligne Lake and Spirit Island. This area is amongst that elite world-famous collection of Rocky Mountain landmarks that so epitomize Canada. Fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and a scenic boat tour are some of the activities offered.

Miette Hot Springs

61km east of of Jasper brings you to Miette Hot Springs - the hottest springs in the Canadian Rockies. The facility features two outdoor mineral pools and two cool pools. Fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities and great mountain views and hikes.

Approximately 100km south of Jasper brings you to the Glacier Adventure, which reveals the most unique attraction in the Canadian Rockies. Massive Ice Explorers, specially designed for glacial travel, take passengers on a remarkable excursion onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. 

Feed your adrenaline and step into a breathtaking world where glaciers rest above and birds soar below. Experience waterfalls, wildlife, fossils and more at the Glacier Skywalk. This on an exciting cliff-edge walkway that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918 foot drop.
