Oliver/Okanagan Falls

Oliver/Okanagan Falls

Known as the wine capital of Canada, Oliver has the largest concentration of vineyards and commercial wineries in British Columbia. Most of them are located along what is known as the Golden Mile of Highway 97, just south of Oliver. This stretch of the highway is also home to a bounty of fruit and vegetable stands. The area boasts great and easily accessible lakes, beaches and park facilities. Nearby, the vintage Kettle Valley Railway Trestle Bridge has been transformed into a delightful walkway by the Okanagan Falls Community and Chamber of Commerce, connecting Okanagan Falls to the trail, which follows the western shoreline of Skaha Lake.
