Visitor's Choice - International Guide - Banff, Alberta

A first joint show for 2 Western Canadian artists, Canada House Gallery is proud to present the striking work of Jennifer Annesley and Dieter Schlatter. Annesley's incredible monochromatic vistas are created with charcoal and gouache. She also works in watercolour, and achieves international recognition for her talents. Schlatter's fascination with black and white film photography is juxtaposed with an edgy, contemporary, almost graffiti form of painting. The contrasts in the two artists' landscapes are obvious, yet unexpectedly, their work is beautifully compatible.
